Investors’ confidence in residential property gaining momentum

November 6, 2012

(L to R) Vahid Mehrinfar, Nader Al Qassab and May Samer addressing a Press conference
After a brief lull, the investors’ confidence in residential properties in Bahrain is gaining momentum, an official at Saar Central on Monday, said.

“We have sold 50% of our villas at Saar Central and the interest from investors in residential property in Bahrain is bringing the overall confidence back,” May Samer, Marketing Manager at Saar Central said

The 82 villa luxury developments have sold 10 villas in the last quarter thereby signaling a change in the real estate market in Bahrain.

“We are promoting the neighbourhood community concept which helps people to live as part of a community,” she said.

“Our quarterly events calendar is aimed at providing our residents with a platform to get to know each other, share common interests, foster strong neighborly bonds and create a community learning environment for the kids. We hope that the neighborhood will flourish and become the ideal location for everyone’s dream home,” she added.

At a special event, Saar Central also announced their new community engagement programme – Events@Saar Central – to help create a cohesive neighborhood environment for all the residents. Saar Central will play host to a series of events to commemorate United Nation’s sanctioned days including World Food Day, World Diabetes Day, Universal Children’s Day, World Television Day and International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development this year.

Nader Al Qassab, Managing Director at Saar Central, admitted that Bahrain’s real estate sector continues to face challenging times.

“While the real estate market in Bahrain saw very little activity in H1 2012, property experts widely agree that the land and property values have finally bottomed out, leaving an increased potential for growth. As a developer, this is good news to us. Now, potential homeowners can benefit not only from living in a top notch residential community, but also from preferred rates for current purchases.”

“Judging by our sales successes in the past two months alone, buyers are finally starting to invest in luxury projects such as Saar Central once more. They are grabbing the opportunity to buy their dream home in this current improving real estate market,” Al Qassab, added.

“While Saar Central is an attractive investment for residents, it has also demonstrated a strong appeal to seasoned real estate investors. The Bahraini real estate market is improving and high-grade assets, such as Saar Central, offering a solid return on investment and considerable income from rental are on an upswing. Our multiple purchase options and attractive prices also make Saar Central an appealing investment option for GCC-wide investors,” Al Qassab, said.

“Saar Central is not just about subdivided houses – it was conceived to be an exclusive neighborhood within one of Bahrain’s most posh localities. Our new home owners will benefit not only from our state-of-the-art designs and family-friendly amenities, but also from their central location and a world-class infrastructure. As I welcome our latest residents to the neighborhood, I look forward to many more new families in the coming months,” handing over the key to the latest members of the Saar Central community, Al Qassab, said.

This month, Saar Central also launched their new and improved sales office in the presence of Saar Central senior management and members of Bahrain’s media community. The move, which was prompted by the sale of the earlier office, which doubled as a model home, provided the opportunity for a completely redesign of a new office with the aim to better serve Saar Central’s current and future residents.

Recently, Saar Central also unveiled their latest amenity for the residents of the development, a new community library. Catering to all age grounds, the Saar Central library will stock books for adults, young adults and children.

Located over a sprawling 65,000 square meter of area in Saar, the development offers luxury and modern, four bedroom plus houses for Bahraini and GCC nationals. Each villa is equipped with a garden, private swimming pool, ample parking and a maid’s room. Built to the highest of international standards and specifications, with luxurious trimmings and finish, all villas amalgamate the aesthetics of Arabian architecture with the best of modern design concepts to offer contemporary living for all homeowners.
