MANAMA: Radio Station 104.2 Your FM is celebrating its 2nd anniversary on 1st June, 2014.
The entire team of radio thanked all the listeners for their support and extended encouragement throughout the last two years.
“As a part of the anniversary celebration, Your FM has planned an on-air celebration of sorts with lots of surprises for the listeners along with a number of gratifications to be given out throughout the day,” it was announced.
The Chairman of the 104.2 Your FM, Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Khalifa shared his vision for the company and assured that Your FM would continue to stay connected with the listeners and offer them content and music that they wish to listen to. “Connectivity with our listeners will be our motto for the company in the years to come.”
When it comes to entertainment, 104.2 Your FM has raised the bar quite high by offering a variety for its audiences from utilities like Desh Vishesh, Currency and Gold Rate updates, traffic alerts, weekend updates to light-hearted segments like Angry Bird, Panga Singh and Bapu Ki Paathshala and from RJ Junior of the Day and Gen Next Quiz for children to Travel and Wellness tips for the entire family. That’s not all, from special shows like Brunch with Boss and Overdrive for a niche audience to Aapka Dost on Friday’s mid-mornings where listeners get a chance for free consultation from a Doctor and a Lawyer week-on-week.
Even the games played on-air have been quite exciting for the listeners to participate in. Contests like Stardom have for the first time given listeners in Bahrain a chance to meet some of the biggest Bollywood Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in Dubai with free travel and stay for a day.
