MANAMA: Director General of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security said that Abdulellah Mohammad Ali Hassan Al-Mahouzi was arrested at Frankfurt International Airport Germany, on the basis of a circular issued by the International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL) to the Member States on 14 March 2013.
Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security Director General explained that the Directorate had received a warrant from the Public Prosecution for Al-Mahouzi’s arrest for manslaughter and causing the death of 13 Asians in a fire that broke out in a residential building in Al-Makhariqah, Manama, on 11 January 2013.
He added that the Directorate is currently finalising the legal procedures to take over Al-Mahouzi and bring him to justice.
