Manama: The launch of direct flight to Moscow by Gulf Air later this month will serve as a catalyst to further improve the business and trade ties between the two countries.
The Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom Victor Smirnov said that Gulf Air’s flight to Moscow from October 28, 2014, would help in enhancing communication and facilitating trade exchange between the two countries.
The Ambassador was speaking as he took part in the 8th follow-up meeting on communications and projects related to His Majesty the King’s visit to Russia hosted by the Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr Hassan Fakhro.
He also touched that the embassy is currently working to organizing Russian Trade Week in the Kingdom of Bahrain in December, including a number of economic events.
He also stressed that many Russian Companies that specialized in jewelry and gems to participates Jewellery Arabia which will be held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center from November 18-21. He also noted the trend to establish a Russian Center to teach the Russian language in the Kingdom.
