BRAVE CF 103 signals a new chapter for Central Asian MMA

December 21, 2025
0

MANAMA: BRAVE Combat Federation closes the curtain on its historic 2025 calendar with a resounding statement of intent as BRAVE CF 103 storms into Bukhara, Uzbekistan, on Tuesday, December 23.

Set to electrify the Universal Sports Complex, the event stands as more than just a fight card — it is a powerful reassurance of the promotion’s enduring commitment to Uzbekistan and the entire Central Asian region.

Held in collaboration with Amir Temur Fighting Championship, BRAVE CF 103 marks its long-awaited return to Uzbekistan, its first since the landmark success of BRAVE CF 59 in June 2022.

That debut etched unforgettable moments into BRAVE CF history, and now, the world’s fastest growing and most global mixed martial arts organization is back to continue a journey built on opportunity, representation, and elite competition.

“We are thrilled to return to Uzbekistan and to end 2025 with a bang,” said Mohammed Shahid, President of BRAVE Combat Federation. “The energy, talent, and passion we witnessed here before were unforgettable, and coming back feels like the perfect way to celebrate a remarkable year for BRAVE CF.”

Since its inception, the Bahrain-based outfit has carried elite MMA to every corner of the world, and Uzbekistan once again joins that global map on December 23.

After historic debut in 2022, BRAVE CF’s return reinforces its mission of building pathways for athletes regardless of geography.

Central Asia has long been a cornerstone of that vision. BRAVE CF has consistently provided fighters from the region with a platform to shine on the international stage, producing world-class champions and contenders who now stand among the elite.

Names like BRAVE CF Lightweight World Champion Abdisalam “Omok” Kubanychbek, featherweight king Nemat “Eagle” Abdrashitov, interim featherweight titleholder Omar Solomanov, and No. 2-ranked featherweight contender Rauan “Shymyr” Bekbolat exemplify the region’s rise.

During its last trip to Uzbekistan, fans witnessed defining moments — Kubanychbek’s successful World Title defense against Olzhas Eskaraev and the emergence of Abdrashitov as a dominant force.

From championship glory to breakout performances, Central Asian warriors have repeatedly proven they belong under the global spotlight.

“Our goal has always been to give athletes from every corner of the world a global platform, and Uzbekistan continues to be a special place for that mission,” Shahid said.

BRAVE CF 103 continues that legacy while welcoming the world. Fans can expect a high-voltage night featuring a spectacular blend of Uzbek standouts, rising talents from neighboring Central Asian nations, and hungry competitors representing South Asia.

The card is crafted to honor local heroes while showcasing the surging wave of fighters emerging from this dynamic territory.

At the top of the bill, national pride and career-defining stakes collide as Uzbekistan’s own Nozim “Bukhara Warrior” Kalandarov faces Pakistan’s undefeated Rizwan “The Haider” Ali in a lightweight headliner destined to captivate the arena.

Both warriors are determined to close the year with a statement victory on one of the biggest junctures of their careers.

The co-main event promises fireworks as well, with an explosive featherweight clash between Uzbekistan’s Sardor “Tiger” Khudoyberdiev and Kazakhstan’s Koshen Akanov — a regional showdown expected to deliver nonstop action from bell to bell.

Adding further weight to the card, several ranked contenders are set to compete, underlining the event’s global importance.

Fans will see No. 3-ranked super lightweight Khamzat “Borz” Maaev, No. 3-ranked super welterweight Zagid Gaidarov, No. 7-ranked lightweight Owais Yaqoob, and No. 7-ranked flyweight Ismail “The Volcano” Khan all in action, each chasing momentum and World Title aspirations.

From the opening bell to the final horn, BRAVE CF 103 promises a relentless pace, gripping matchups, and edge-of-your-seat drama.
