The Interior Ministry affirmed that the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security had arrested a 27-year-old individual for misusing social media by posting AI-generated content.
It included false claims, misleading information and fabricated scenes, as well as incitement and offensive material that could influence public opinion and undermine civil peace and community stability. Legal proceedings have been taken to refer him to the Public Prosecution.
