Dubai, UAE: The Bahrain Chamber attended the AIM Investment Summit 2026, held in Dubai under the gracious patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, and in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade. The participation reflected the strong and historic fraternal ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, as well as their growing economic, trade, investment, and social integration.
The delegation engaged with investors, business leaders, and decision-makers to explore promising investment opportunities, build partnerships, and connect Bahraini businesses with international counterparts, supporting greater market access and competitiveness.
Second Vice Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Nawaf Al Zayani, and Head of the delegation, said that the Summit provided an important platform to promote Bahrain’s investment opportunities, strengthen engagement with investors and decision-makers, and explore areas of cooperation that support the private sector and economic growth.
He noted that the Summit facilitated the exchange of expertise and perspectives, while opening new avenues for promising and sustainable partnerships for Bahrain’s private sector.
During his participation in the session titled “Chambers in the Era of Technology,” Al Zayani highlighted the role of chambers of commerce in promoting sustainable trade and reshaping the investment ecosystem. He emphasized the importance of digitalizing trade, advancing sustainability, enabling small and medium-sized enterprises to expand internationally, and strengthening cooperation among chambers of commerce. He also highlighted the role of technology and artificial intelligence in connecting businesses with markets, investment opportunities, and supply chains, while enhancing their global competitiveness.
He stressed the importance of translating cooperation among chambers of commerce into practical initiatives that connect businesses, increase exports, attract investment, and strengthen supply chain resilience, thereby supporting sustainable growth amid evolving economic and geopolitical conditions.
In addition to Al Zayani, the delegation included, Vice treasurer, Khalid Juma, and Board Members Sussan Abu Al Hassan and Abeer Almoayyed. The delegation attended a number of economic sessions and held meetings, including a session on global investment prospects and investment trends in the GCC countries, as well as meetings with the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments and Exports (AMDIE) to explore cooperation, partnership, and investment opportunities.
The participation reaffirmed the Bahrain Chamber’s role in supporting the Kingdom’s economic priorities, strengthening its position as an attractive destination for investment and business, promoting economic diversification, and attracting quality investments that contribute to sustainable growth.
