Manama: AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) has successfully concluded the 2026 edition of its ‘Job Exposure Programme’, reaffirming its commitment to empowering Bahraini youth through practical learning opportunities that strengthen professional capabilities, leadership potential, and awareness of national identity.
The initiative connects young people with real-world work environments, enabling them to explore their interests and make more informed choices about their future. Combining guidance, mentorship and hands-on learning, it is designed to help participants gain a clearer understanding of potential career pathways while building essential personal and professional competencies from an early age.
Targeting students aged 13 to 16, the programme stands among the Kingdom’s top experiential learning initiatives. Participants are placed within leading national institutions, where they observe day-to-day operations, engage with professionals and gain exposure to a range of industries.
Throughout the experience, participants took part in several practical activities including CV preparation, workplace requirements, communication and teamwork. Students were also given opportunities to undertake hands-on tasks designed to foster responsibility, independence and confidence, supporting MKF’s mission to prepare local talent for the demands of a changing labour market.
The 2026 edition was delivered with the participation of several prominent national organisations, including the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY), Mubasher Capital, Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), Naseej, Masaha Creative Production, VOID, Bapco Energies, Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), and AlQoud Foundation Group. Their involvement broadened participants’ exposure to key sectors across the Kingdom and provided valuable insight into different professional environments.

Through its various initatives, MKF continues to advance youth development in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), empowering young Bahrainis with relevant capabilities and supporting their ability to contribute to the Kingdom’s social and economic progress.
Established in 2011, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation is a non-profit organisation licensed and registered with Bahrain’s Ministry of Social Development. The Foundation seeks to create positive social impact through education and the empowerment of local talent, providing opportunities that combine knowledge, skills and practical experience to help individuals realise their potential and contribute to their communities.
