Batelco Training Centre, located at the Company’s Hamala Headquarters has been officially opened following recent refurbishments, by Batelco Group CEO Shaikh Mohamed bin Isa Al Khalifa. Shaikh Mohamed was accompanied by a number of Batelco senior executives, including Batelco Bahrain CEO Rashid Abdulla, Group General Manager HR and Development Shaikh Ahmed Al Khalifa, General Manager HR Bahrain, Suhaila Alnowakhda plus Training Centre officials and staff members.
Batelco HR Training and Development Manager Shaikh Bader Al Khalifa led the distinguished guests on a tour of the Centre showcasing the excellent facilities and explaining how they address the Company’s training needs as well as catering to the individual needs of employees.
The newly revamped Centre which boasts a modern reception area designed to make trainees feel welcome features a number of iPad stations so that visiting students can use their free time effectively between classes. The Centre also features 11 classrooms and laboratories which can accommodate up to 160 trainees at a time and cater to all the technical training requirements of the Company through expert instructors and the use of state of the art equipment.
Shaikh Mohamed thanked the HR team for the comprehensive tour of the premises and offered them encouragement to continue with their excellent and invaluable work in serving the Company’s training needs.
