GCC Ministers of Health Conference in its (74) term kicks off on Wednesday at Sofitel Hotel in Zalaq, in the presence of the ministers of health in the GCC states and Yemen.
Under the patronage of the Minister of Health, Sadiq Bin Abdul Kareem Al-Shehabi, the Executive Office of GCC States Health Ministers Council will honor on Tuesday night the winners of the Gulf Excellence Award for the health media in its fourth term, as well as honoring the organizing committees of the conference.
The winners list of Gulf Excellence Award has 19 names, including 4 names winners from Kingdom of Bahrain: Waleed Sabri from Al-Watan Newspaper, Bodour Al Malki from Al-Bilad Newspaper, Saleh Bin Ali Mohammed from Al-Naba Weekly Newspaper, and Mona Hajji from Health Promotion Directorate at Ministry of Health.
The Gulf Excellence Award aims at developing the spirit of creativity, and innovation among staff and those interested in the area of health education and health media at the level of the GCC states, encouraging the creators to contribute to the prevention and health promotion through affecting individuals and community groups, urging them to adopt healthy behaviours.
The Award also aims at attracting the attention of the governmental media institutions, and reinforcing partnership with the private media institutions, supporting the outstanding efforts aiming at developing health education programmes at the level of the GCC states and improving the skills of those working in the area of health education.
