Manama: The Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA) has launched Masaraat, a newly established sub-brand that focuses on providing academic and training programmes across a plethora of fields including Land and Maritime training, Management and Leadership, Higher Education and more.
GAA which is the Kingdom’s premier provider of high-quality aviation and logistics training, rolled out the latest initiative as part of its strategic expansion plans.
Masaraat, which is the Arabic word for “paths” will be the umbrella name under which all non-aviation programs will exist, and will provide the very best educational and training programs across the aforementioned fields.
Masaraat will provide a focused experience with qualified training staff across the fields by utilizing GAA’s expertise in the training field and teaming up with several specialized partners that will bring to the new fields the same expertise and quality standards as those of the aviation programs.
“The establishment of the Masaraat sub-brand will provide the Kingdom with a highly skilled national workforce required to fulfill the needs of the logistics sector, higher education and management. In line with the Kingdom’s comprehensive development goals led by His Majesty the King, the academy will focus on training students and contributing in building a new generation of highly qualified cadre capable of fulfilling future market needs within these sectors. With its launch, Masaraat will ensure the Academy is on the right path towards achieving the Kingdom’s future plans and vision,” Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, the Minister of Transportation, and Telecommunications and the Chairman of GAA, said.
