His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Stephanie Hallett, in the presence of Chief of Police, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan.

HE the Interior Minister welcomed the envoy and congratulated her on the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America.

HE the Interior Minister praised the deep-rooted historical relations and strategic partnership between the two friendly countries and their commitment to strengthening cooperation, coordination and joint efforts at all levels, particularly in the security field, while opening new avenues for the exchange of expertise.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral security cooperation programmes and ways to further enhance and develop them, as well as several issues aimed at advancing joint efforts and promoting security and stability in ways that serve the interests of the two friendly countries.
