Al Sakhir: Mahmood Rafique, Editor: The newly elected board members of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) have pledged to work closely with the private sector especially the SMEs, which are considered the backbone of the economy, the steps aim at boosting to the overall development and growth of the economy.
The elections for the 31st term of the Bahrain Chamber and Commerce and Industry (BCCI) held on Saturday at the Exhibition World Bahrain and eligible voters’ overwhelming response despite the spate of aggressive attacks against Bahrain is seen as a rare sign of national unity and resilience of people of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The24X7News has conducted interviews on the sidelines of polling in which the BCCI board members, who got elected from Estidamah Bloc, highlighted their priorities and roadmap for the next four years. Led by Nabeel Kanoo, Estidamah strategic alliance vows unite the business community in its endeavour to play as a catalyst in reshaping the Kingdom’s economy.
Estidamah Bloc’s ultimate objective is to reinforce the Chamber’s role as a unified platform for the private sector and an effective partner in supporting the continued progress of Bahrain’s national economy.
The newly elected board reiterate to serve as an active and credible voice for the commercial sector. They said their approach stems out from a constructive collaboration with the relevant authorities to help shape practical responses, support impactful initiatives, and champion programmes that strengthen the sector’s stability and growth, advance the interests of merchants, and contribute to the broader progress and long-term sustainability of Bahrain’s economy.
