Capital Governor, Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, received Managing Director of Zain Bahrain, Mohammed Zainalabedin, and the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Ammar Al Ketbi, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in implementing community and development initiatives and programmes that serve the people of the governorate and support the sustainable development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the Capital Governor reviewed the key programmes and initiatives implemented by the Capital Governorate in youth, community and volunteer fields, aimed at developing national capabilities and enhancing community participation in volunteer work and social responsibility.
He affirmed the importance of expanding partnerships with private-sector institutions, as they are key to supporting development efforts and promoting the values of solidarity and community cooperation.
For his part, Mohammed Zainalabedin affirmed Zain Bahrain’s keenness to continue supporting community and development initiatives that benefit society, in line with the company’s commitment to social responsibility and its role in advancing sustainable development.
He praised the Capital Governorate’s efforts to launch purposeful initiatives and strengthen community partnerships in ways that serve various segments of society.
