The General Directorate of Civil Defence has launched an awareness campaign targeting swimming pools across the governorates, coinciding with the start of the summer season, with the aim of enhancing public safety and reducing accidents.

The campaign included field visits to a number of swimming pools to ensure compliance with safety and prevention requirements, in addition to providing awareness guidance to pool owners and users. The Directorate also stressed the importance of closely supervising children and adhering to safety measures in and around swimming pools.

The Directorate affirmed that its awareness campaigns and initiatives will continue throughout the summer season, contributing to raising preventive awareness and safeguarding lives and property.
