The deployment marks a significant step forward in Zain Bahrain’s continued commitment to smart innovation and its ambition to support the Kingdom’s digital transformation through advanced, AI-enabled telecommunications solutions. While the deployment of AI within the radio network represents a significant milestone, Zain Bahrain views it as the beginning of a wider transformation journey toward more intelligent, adaptive, and future-ready networks. The milestone follows the successful evaluation of Ericsson’s AI-native Scheduler for Link Adaptation solution on Zain Bahrain’s live network. In simple terms, technology allows the network to make smarter, real-time decisions based on changing demand and usage patterns, helping improve overall performance and efficiency.
For customers, this means a smoother, faster, and more resilient mobile experience, especially when using data-heavy services such as video streaming, online gaming, video conferencing, social media and cloud applications.
